Alan Mathison Turing was an English mathematician, computer scientist, logician, cryptanalyst, philosopher and theoretical biologist. He was born in 1912 and died 1954. He entered the University of Cambridge to study mathematics in 1931. After graduating in 1934, he was elected to a fellowship at King’s College.

Gladys West

Gladys West

Gladys West born October 27th of 1930 is an often overlooked figure of the 1960s space race and even her coinciding achievements go under represented. She's a prolific worker from her time at NASA helping in the study of astronomy and having a hand in the creation and early usage of the GPS but having gone unrecognized originally. Later in her life she began to be recognized for her massive contributions having a book entitled "Hidden Figures" written about the work of her and her fellow hidden colleagues at NASA and later that book was adapted into a movie released in 2016. 2 years later she was inducted into the USA's Air Force Hall of Fame which cemented her as an important individual in the computer science world after so many years.

Tim Berners-Lee

Tim Berners-Lee

That face is Tim Berners-Lee born on June 8th 1955 he's a Pioneer in the world of computer science. His crowning achievement? He's credited as the creator of the World Wide Web The original HTML web browser and editor. Berners-Lee a highly accredited web developer having been knighted by the late Queen in 2004, inducted into the Fellow of the Royal Society and, also wining The ACM Turing Award back in 2016 alongside many other accolades for his world shaking invention.
